Contactless Voltage Tester – Circuit and Making

CONCEPT OF THE CIRCUIT

In this Contactless Voltage Tester circuit the current induced in the Antenna Coil when bringing it to close to the AC Voltage (Wire or Switch) is subsequently amplified by three transistors connected in the series to light an LED or you may add a buzzer in parallel to the LED. The circuit is self explanatory as it is a very old circuit and a lot has been said about it on Google and on Youtube. However, if you wish to buy the best multimeter to check the components, then you may buy it from INDE Enterprises in Chandigarh, they also have soldering stations.

It is an easy Electronic School Project for the students of Class 8 or Class 9. Since I live in Chandigarh, I prefer that children of my age from Chandigarh, Mohali and Panchkula (or if I may say all of North India) appreciate my work so that I can keep on bringing new projects on a regular basis.

Here is how I made this Contactless Voltage Tester – Follow me.
