Professional Lighting System for Streets and Stairs is an Electronic Project for Kids wired around our old friend Arduino UNO. It can also be used for professional purposes without any major alterations in the project. PLSSS can be used as automatic street lighting system or automatic staircase lighting system. Following are the uses of this electronic project for kids.
Automatic Street Lights
The project can be used as automatic street lighting system. Once the car enters from the right or from the left of the road, the street lights are automatically switched ON. The circuit keeps track of all the cars that are entering the road. It will only switch OFF the streetlights when the entire road is empty – saving electricity. The delay can be added to keep the streetlights on for some-time before they switch OFF.
I am giving two circuits here in this project, one to work as demo and the other one use a relay module for practical use.
Automatic Staircase Lighting System
The project here can also be used as automatic staircase lighting system. When a person enters the staircase, the staircase lights will get switched ON. It will keep track of number of person entering the staircase area and will switch OFF the staircase lights when all the persons have left the stairs.
This electronic project for kids is an ideal school project for all levels of students.
